For sun worshippers, Sunday was glorious - almost enough to make some people forget about our horrible winter.
On the hottest day of the year so far in many parts of New England, the beach was the place to be.
People at Nantasket Beach in Hull, Massachusetts, were soaking in the sun.
"I love it," said Terry Habib of Shrewsbury. "I love going to the beach. It's the best thing ever, I wait for it all year."
After enduring a tough winter, most people aren't complaining even though in some places, temperatures hovered near 90 Sunday.
