Much of Northeast Under Frost/Freeze Advisories Sunday Night

Plants should be brought inside overnight

A large and cold area of high pressure building into New England is coming with plenty of chilly air, and temperatures are expected to tumble for portions of the Northeast that haven't seen a frost and/or freeze yet this season.

As a result, a large area of frost and/or freeze advisories and warnings have been posted from Southern New England to the Virginias. In these areas, the growing season will end for many - crops should be harvested, and plants should be brought inside during the overnight period Sunday night.
