    (Published Monday, Jan. 4, 2016)

Police are on the scene of a multi-vehicle pileup in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Driving conditions are bad on Route 3 Southbound at this time due to snow. Police are urging commuters to reduce speeds between Exits 10 and 12.

Massachusetts State Police say multiple accidents have been reported.

A bitter blast of cold air flowing over relatively warm ocean waters is creating bands of ocean effect snow in parts of Southern New England.

The heaviest bands of snow are likely from the South Shore down towards the Cape and the Islands.

Travel during the evening commute will be particularly slick at some points.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
