    Rather gray, but mostly dry Wednesday.

    A weak cold front is pushing from northwest to southeast across New England today. There are a few showers, or a sprinkle, or maybe just stays dry at your location all day. No significant precipitation expected in New England, as mild air will be replaced with cooler air late in the day and overnight.

    Under mostly cloudy skies we are in the 50s south, and 40s north today. Wind from the northwest will increase 15 to 25 mph by sunset.

    Clearing sky overnight, frosty cold with a low temperature in the 20s north and 30s south.

    It will be cold at the bus stop for our Thursday morning, but with plenty of sunshine high temperatures tomorrow will rebound back into the 50s during the afternoon. Mostly clear & frosty tomorrow night lows around 32°.

    Another front will be advancing from north to south across New England on Friday, this one with stronger wind, but again mostly clouds without any rain. The exception will be in the mountains of northern New England where a coating of snow is possible as cold air rushes in during the afternoon.

    High temperatures on Friday in the 50s south, 40s north.

    Windy and cold Friday night low temperature in the 20s south, 10s north. Overnight wind will gust past 30 mph from the north.

    Saturday dawns bright and cold with a lot of wind, but the afternoon turns much better with a high temperature into the 40s, and wind diminishing late, along with plenty of sunshine. High-pressure settles south of New England on Sunday with a return flow of warmer air.

    After a cold start in the 20s again we will rebound into the 50s to near 60° in southern New England by late Sunday afternoon.

    The New England Patriots host the Seattle Seahawks Sunday night at 8:30 under a near full moon to be a seasonable night with temperature falling from the 40s into the 30s. Another warm up is in store for early next week with good amount of sunshine back to the 50s and 60s Monday, Tuesday, and maybe Wednesday.
