Arizona Wildfire Forces Thousands to Leave Their Homes

(NECN/CNN) - The Wallow fire in Arizona has forced thousands of people to flee their homes.

The fire has burned 389,000 acres, so far, and now the flames are threatening New Mexico.

The Wallow fire is now officially the second largest wildfire in Arizona's history. It started on May 29th.

The governor of Arizona issued a state of emergency earlier this week, releasing $200,000 in funding to aid in response and recovery.

Greg Black reports.
