Blizzard Dumps More Than a Foot of Snow in Central Mass.

(NECN: Katie Daly, Worcester, Mass.) - New Englanders are digging out after a heavy snowfall that made travel treacherous at times.

The blizzard of 2010 dumped more than a foot of snow across Central Massachusetts. 300 plows hit the streets early in Worcester trying to keep the roadways safe.

White out conditions forced the Worcester Regional Airport to shut down. All flights were cancelled Monday. The airports director says crews will start working tomorrow to open the runways.
