(NECN) – Boston Mayor Tom Menino said a good plan is in place to keep ahead of a winter storm.
He said, “We’ll have 700 pieces of equipment on the streets of our city.”
Menino said he was concerned about the frigid temperatures.
He said, “I am urging everyone to stay indoors and check on your elderly neighbors. If you
see homeless individuals, call the police or emergency services.”
He said there is an enforced parking ban for Boston for the major streets. He said people
will be towed if they park on any streets included in the ban.
He added, “Take precautions and take public transportation and take care of one another.”
