(NECN) - Lee McGuire from Boston Public Schools said it was a difficult decision as to whether or not to hold school Friday. While school was in session Friday, many parents decided to keep their children home. Later in the afternoon, Boston Public Schools sent an automated message saying that if a child was absent, it will be considered excused.
