Boston Turns Wet, Quiet, and Calm During Storm

(NECN: Leslie Gaydos) - What a day! This is one of the worst weather days we've seen in a while. What started out as snow turned to rain mid-morning in Boston and the umbrellas came out.

Commuters ended up navigating the snow piles and the slushy puddles.

If you don't have on the right footwear today, you've got a lot of problems. We met some people today with the wrong shoes, wet socks, and they were headed home to change.

It was a very quiet day overall. Many government employees didn't have to come to work and several stores are closed, so it's been an overall quiet, calm, and very wet day around Boston.
