Bostonians Dig Out After Blizzard

(NECN: Justine Waldman, Boston, Mass.) - Bostonians are digging out following the blizzard. The city was dumped with more than a foot and a half of snow.

Plows pushed the mounds snow away, and cars covered from bumper to bumper lined the streets of Boston's Back Bay.

Drivers started the big dig of reclaiming their cars.

What the city does not want to see is people removing snow from their cars and putting it on the street, you have to put it on the sidewalk.

At the frozen Boston Commons.. it is a winter wonderland.

kids made the most of it.

If you live in South Boston and are using a lawn chair, traffic cones, or any other item to save a parking space in front of you're home - be prepared to move it.

The city lifted its snow emergency and parking ban at six o'clock last night. that means parking space savers must be removed or the city will take action.
