(NECN: Scot Yount, Brimfield, Mass.) - Everything old is new again in one Massachusetts community right now.

Even though the town is still recovering from the effects of last year’s devastating tornadoes, the auction at “Auction Acres” is a go!

From its typical 3,000 residents, Brimfield morphs into a place with 250,000 people during the Brimfield Antique Show over the summer.

There are a lot of downed trees out there.

Scot Yount spoke with David Celino, Massachusetts Chief Fire Warden, said the spring presented a challenge.

There’s been a lot of rain lately, but there’s still a significant fire danger.

Celino said this spring really presented a challenge.

He has more on the cleanup of the grass, the dead fuels still in the woods and the present fire danger.
