(NECN) - Firefighters battled brush fires in Taunton, Bedford and Stoneham, Mass. on Tuesday.
In Stoneham, the brush fire burned in the area of Woodland Avenue.
In Bedford, Mass., crews are on the scene of a brush fire off of Concord Road, near the Bedford/Concord town line.
In Taunton, Mass., three fire engines knocked down a brush fire near Alanita Drive; however, crews planned to stay on scene for the next couple of hours wetting down areas.
Officials say these fires are the result of high temperatures, high winds and little precipitation.
