Cape Cod Roads Quiet on Snowy, Windy Night

(NECN: Kathryn Sotnik, Bourne, Mass.) - Saturday night was a brutal one on Cape Cod. It was windy and frigid as thick flakes of snow fell at a rapid pace.

There were not many people on the roads in Bourne, Mass. as people seemed to heed Gov. Patrick's warning to stay off the roadways between 5 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday.

A blizzard warning on Cape Cod also lasts through Sunday morning.

Over in Plymouth, more than 4,000 customers were without power. In Sandwich, about 1,400 customers lost power earlier, but power has been restored to most of those residents.
