(NECN: Greg Wayland, Plum Island) - A home perched precariously on the edge above the Atlantic Ocean is coming down today.
Ferocious waves and wind washed the land right out from under the home on Plum Island in Newbury, Massachusetts over Christmas weekend, and officials say they had no choice, but to demolish it.
The home on Annapolis Way will be razed today.
Other Plum Island homes are still in jeopardy of collapsing.
