(NECN/WGCL) - It was an amazing rescue in suburban Atlanta is caught on camera. Firefighters pulled a family out from under a storm-crushed home. You can see a firefighter carrying a little girl out of the wreckage.
The family became trapped after a tree fell on their Sandy Springs home.
"We ran down to the laundry room," said Jodi Shearin, "and as soon as we got down to the laundry room that's when the trees started falling... and it was like, it happened really really fast."
The family is okay. The storms were part of a severe weather that has hit parts of the Midwest and South since Thursday.
