Flash Flood Warning Issued for Parts of Mass.

Update (11:45 am): National Weather Service has extended the flash flood warning for the Boston metro area until 2pm.

Traffic Update (11:22 am): Mass. Department of Transportation says all lanes on Route 95 have reopened, northbound and southbound.

Traffic Update: Two lanes open on Route 95 north and one lane open on Route 95 south. (NECN) - The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for southeastern Middlesex, Suffolk and Norfolk counties.

The warning remains in effect until noon.

Up to 3 inches of rain has already fallen in some areas. An additional 1 to 2 inches is expected.

Mass. State Police have temporarily closed Route 95 north and south due to the conditions.
