(NECN) - Fire crews have been going door-to-door in parts of Oklahoma City, urging residents to voluntarily leave while a nearby dam is evaluated.
The city has been getting as much as 3 inches of rain an hour, causing flooding that stranded motorists on their morning commutes.
Many rescues are underway.
NECN's RD Sahl and meteorologist Matt Noyes take a closer look at what's going on there.
