Funnel Clouds, Large Hail Reported in Oxford County, Maine

(NECN: Oxford, Maine) - Sunday morning, crews were busy removing trees from roads and repairing downed power lines in Oxford County, Maine.

There were reports of golf ball sized hail, and even funnel clouds in the area Saturday. The storm didn't last long, but left a big mess.

David Turgeon was trapped during the storm. "It just picked me right off the ground and the trees hit down inches off the ground, the shed was shifted back, right off the blocks beside the tress it was standing on. I don't know how I'm still standing."

The National Weather Service says it will send investigators to survey the damage tomorrow to determine whether a tornado touched down.
