Governor Declares State of Emergency in Nebraska

(NECN/KETV: Winslow, NE) - Nebraska is dealing with disastrous flooding this weekend.

The governor has declared a state of emergency-- after recent severe weather spawned on intense flooding that has damaged homes and bridges.

You're looking at the town of Winslow, where pumps are running non-stop.

A levee is keeping most of the flood waters out, for now.

The assistant fire chief and his team of volunteers are working to pump out last night's rain water out of town.
