(NECN: Greg Wayland) - The misery is continuing along the Mississippi River. Historic flooding is slowly moving south.
Memphis, Tennessee now sits in the bullseye, and evacuations are underway. Tourist attractions are closing. People have been trying to decide whether to stay or flee to higher ground. One area of the river near Memphis is expected to crest this weekend.
Evacuation notices are being posted in low-lying areas around Memphis. While some are heeding the warning, others are staying put.
