(NECN) - NECN meteorologist Danielle Niles says a hurricane watch has been issued for areas of Massachusetts. The watch has been issued north of Sagamore Beach to Plymouth and west of Woods Hole to Westport, Massachusetts.
There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the path of Hurricane Earl. Danielle says have your emergency supplies ready and your evacuation plans on hand, should that become necessary.
Earl has maximum sustained winds near 145 mph and is located about 410 miles south of Cape Hatteras, N.C., and moving north-northwest near 18 mph.
