(NECN) - A new U.S. Geological Survey report out this week found that 68% of beaches in New England and along the mid-Atlantic coastline have eroded during the past 150 years.
On Thursday, Congressman Bill Keating checked out the damaged seawall in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He says the damage is estimated at more than $1 million.
Keating says he is hoping that FEMA will get involved.
