Many Flee East Coast Ahead of Hurricane Earl

(NECN/CNN) - Hurricane Earl continues to take aim at the North Carolina coast.

The Category 4 storm is now expected to pass North Carolina's Outer Banks late tonight. Hurricane warnings and watches currently reach from North Carolina to Delaware, and parts of Massachusetts.

Mandatory evacuations have been issued for parts of the Carolina coast. President Barack Obama has signed a disaster declaration for the state.
