Mass. Gov.: ‘MEMA Is Currently Transitioning to Full Activation'

(NECN) - Gov. Deval Patrick and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency held a briefing Thursday evening regarding the nor'easter that is pounding New England.

At the briefing, Gov. Patrick explained that MEMA would be transitioning to full activation.

"We are prepared to respond to any major coastal flooding, but we're not aware of any evacuation orders yet beyond a voluntary evacuation, which has been called for in both Duxbury and Scituate," said Gov. Patrick.

Additionally, the governor shared a lot of advice for people dealing with severe weather.
