(NECN: Jennifer Eagan - Boston, MA) - The weather could make for a messy commute around Boston.
NECN reporter Jennifer Eagan is at the Allston Brighton tolls with the latest on conditions from there.
Jennifer is reporting that the snow has not started just yet in the Boston area.
Meteorologist Matt Noyes on Tuesday is calling for snow, moderate to heavy at times.
This will be mixed with rain along the south coast of New England where accumulations of either side of 2" are likely.
A general 6"-8" will fall north of the Mass Pike, with locally higher amounts in Essex County, MA and Rockingham County, NH where 12" may fall.
