(NECN/KABC) - Nearly all southern California residents evacuated because of dangerous mudslides are back home Sunday morning.
Saturday's mudslides were the result of intense winter rain that poured down mountains.
More than 40 homes and dozens of vehicles were damaged.
About 800 homes across LA county were evacuated for much of the day.
But residents from all of the homes except about 70 returned home Saturday night.
There are no reported injuries.
KABC News reporter Carlos Granda has more on the story.
