(NECN: Jackie Bruno, Lexington, Mass.) - Many New Englanders had a messy commute at the start of March, after a fairly mild winter season.
A mixed bag of snow, sleet and rain fell across much of the area.
Drivers were advised to take it slow on the roadways, allowing plenty of time to get to work Thursday morning.
