(NECN: Tuscaloosa, Alabama) - President Barack Obama toured storm damage in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Friday.
He told residents: "We're going to make sure you're not forgotten."
He said: "No matter how hard we're tested, we'll maintain our faith."
The President has offered the federal government's help as the region struggles to recover. There have been more than 300 deaths across three southern states in deadly storms and tornadoes.
