People Try to Keep Cool as Heat Wave Hits New England

(NECN: Julie Loncich) – The recent weather in New England has left many wanting to find ways to keep cool, especially with the humidity.

It’s the kind of heat where you’ll sweat after standing still for several minutes.

Friday marked the third day in a row of 90-degree weather, making it a heat wave.

Public pools in Allston, Mass. have lines of people, waiting for their turn to cool off in the pool.

City officials urge people to stay hydrated and check on neighbors.
