Pothole Problems on Worcester Streets

(NECN) - Most New England drivers welcome warmer weather and the opportunity to drive on snow-free streets but, to be expected, the nice weather has created a new kind of problem: potholes.

Although the main roads in Worcester seem fairly clear, the back roads are littered with potentially-costly potholes. Damaged cars and tires are keeping area auto repair shops busy. Officials suggest swerving to avoid potholes and if that's not possible, reduce your speed when going over them.

If you damage your car due to a pothole and feel the city has been negligent in repairing the road in a timely fashion, you may be able to be reimbursed. Call 508-929-1300 for more information.
