Provided All Goes as Planned, Tonight's Rocket Launch to Be Visible From New England, Northeast Tonight

A Minataur V rocket carrying NASA's LADEE moon probe will launch from Wallops Beach in Virginia Friday night at 11:27 PM, provided all goes as planned, and the mission goes on time.

This "Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer" (LADEE) is on a 100 day mission to investigate the thin atmosphere of Earth's moon.
