Questions on School Closings Follow Foxboro Crash

(NECN: Greg Wayland, Foxboro, Mass.) - Some parents in the area feel that, in this especially variable and horrible winter, school officials have a difficult and thankless job.

The decision to hold school Tuesday is being questioned in Foxboro, Mass., where a school bus carrying children crashed.

The school bus and the minivan involved both had their fronts crashed in.

The four middle school students on the school bus were evaluated and are OK. The mother and two small sons in the minivan were taken to the hospital for evaluation, but there is no word yet on their conditions.

The school's superintendent did not comment but did receive support from parents regarding her decision to hold school.
