Scituate Fire Chief: ‘It's Been a Challenging 18 Hours'

(NECN: Scituate, Mass.) - Richard Judge, Chief of the Fire Department in Scituate, Massachusetts says it has been a "challenging 18 hours."

A fire started at a vacant house, and quickly spread to a second home.

Meanwhile, evacuations are underway due to coastal flooding from a powerful blizzard.

Judge says many of his own men put themselves in harm's way.

A shelter has opened at the high school in Scituate for anyone that is seeking food and warmth.
