Scituate, Mass. Seeing High Winds, Some Flooding

(NECN: Ally Donnelly, Scituate, Mass.) - The community of Scituate, Mass. is already experiencing some flooding and high winds as a nor'easter moves its way through New England.

Officials are asking residents who live in flood zones to evacuate before it gets dark, which would hamper emergency rescue efforts if they're needed, and say the shelter at Scituate High School will be opened at 6 p.m. Thursday, where pets are also welcomed.

The town of Scituate has already asked for $8 million from FEMA to repair a sea wall from a winter storm in 2013.
