Slushy Streets, Sidewalks in Boston After Nor'easter

(NECN: Alison King, Boston) - It was the peak of evening rush hour traffic when the storm started to end.

Despite some messy sidewalks and streets, people were still out and about.

However, vehicle traffic was lighter than usual for the hour on a Friday, meaning that many people probably decided to just work from home.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino did not cancel school in the city on Friday, and many are wondering why.
