(NECN: Josh Brogadir, Boston) - Amidst Tuesday's evening rush hour commute, folks are facing stop-and-go traffic on the Zakim Bridge.

Snow has steadily picked up and speeds have been reduced to a 15mph crawl. The roads are coated in snow and conditions are becoming very slick.

Many people left work early, making travel conditions much more congested than usual. Major delays are to be expected.
