Snow Plows Work Through the Night in Boston

(NECN: Leslie Gaydos) - Boston has been a ghost town this morning.

Early in the morning, snow plows were the only things on the streets. Workers began clearing off the sidewalks at 1 a.m., and they say they'll continue throughout the entire day.

Boston mayor Tom Menino declared a snow emergency in the city, and no cars are allowed to be parked on city streets.

Leslie Gaydos calls it the the "closest thing to a human snow globe that I have ever been in my life."
