Snowstorm Slams Into Conn.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Schools across Connecticut have let out early and the statewide shelter network has been activated as a snowstorm and arctic temperatures move into the region.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy directed several agencies to coordinate with shelters.

Temperatures are expected to drop to about 10 degrees Tuesday night, with wind chills as low as minus -6 degrees.
