(NECN/CNN) - Southwest Tennessee is preparing for what could turn into a large-scale flooding disaster as the swollen Mississippi threatens to crest Tuesday.
Hundreds in Memphis are already evacuated. Heavy rains and melting snow upstream have caused flooding along most of the Mississippi river. People have been forced from their homes in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Arkansas.
