Strong Winds Will Cause Seas to Build Rapidly

(NECN: Scot Yount, Scituate, Mass.) - While many people are watching the sky in anticipation of the next winter storm, others are watching the ocean in New England.

Coastal flooding is once again a major concern for people on the South Shore of Massachusetts.

Pockets of low end moderate coastal flooding are possible during the early Thursday morning high tide cycle.

A coastal flood watch remains in effect from late Wednesday night through Thursday morning. Strong Northeast winds will cause seas to build rapidly overnight.
