Tornado Recovery Efforts Continue in Western Mass.

(NECN: Brendan Monahan: Brimfield, Mass.) - Four and a half months after tornadoes ripped through central and western Massachusetts, U.S. Rep. Richard Neal is getting an update on recovery efforts.

Today he toured some of the hardest hit towns, including Brimfield, where Ellen Sussman never dreamed she'd be building a new house this fall with a vast view of nearby denuded hills and where the spectacular sunsets are a silver lining to the devastation June 1.

Selectman Thomas Marino says while homeowners slowly recover, the newest concern is whether damaged roads will deteriorate this winter.
