(NECN: Scot Yount, Boston, Mass.) - People across the Bay State are assessing the damage after the heavy wind over the weekend left some yards and parks in shambles.
Crews have been working very hard removing trees across the Boston Common and elsewhere.
The cleanup is still underway and will be for a while.
Trees have been ripped from the soaked ground.
"It's devastating," says John Erito, who loves the Common.
Cars and homes were also damaged.
