(NECN: Warwick, RI) - People in Warwick, Rhode Island are being asked not to flush toilets unless it is absolutely necessary and to avoid doing anything else that will send water into the sewage system.
The Warwick Water and Sewer Authority says it won't be able to fix backed up pumps until the floodwaters recede.
The Mayor of Warwick, Scott Avedisian, says floodwaters are not receding as quickly as officials had envisioned.
