(NECN: Washington, D.C.) - The nation's capital has now been hit with two storms in less than a week. The federal government was shut down for a third day.
9.8 inches of snow have accumulated at Reagan Airport, giving D.C. A seasonal snowfall of 54.9 inches. That breaks the record set in the winter of 1898-99.
