Weather Week: Reverend Says If Tragedy Not Dealt With, Wounds Will Become Deeper

(NECN: Matt Noyes, Monson, Mass.) - It's Weather Week on NECN and meteorologist Matt Noyes is taking a look back at the deadly 2011 tornado in Massachusetts.

Noyes is joined by Rev. Bob Marrone of the First Church of Monson.

Marrone says one of the biggest questions people always ask in the wake of a disaster is: "Where was God in this?"

Marrone says God was in the response.

Marrone also notes that one of his deepest concerns is that people are not dealing with their emotions in the wake of tragedy. Marrone says people are still affected by the tornado and if their feelings are not dealt with, overtime the wounds will become deeper and deeper.
