(NECN: Matt Noyes, Monson, Mass.) - It's Weather Week on NECN.

In this clip, meteorologist Matt Noyes catches up with Dan Butler of Southbridge, Massachusetts.

Butler is a survivor of the 2011 tornado in Massachusetts.

Butler says "everything happened so fast...our house was hit...it has been a long road."

Butler tells Noyes he was watching NECN right up until about a minute before the tornado hit. He says he went as far away from the windows as he could and he was in the basement.

"I remember it hit," says Butler. "I remember hearing booms. The wind gets knocked out of you. Your ears pop."
