(NECN: Melissa Toupin, Worcester, Mass.) - First it was the snow, now it's the cold that's causing problems. Temperatures have taken a major nose dive over the past few days.
Students in Worcester got a few extra hours of sleep Monday. School was delayed two hours thanks to the cold weather.
The superintendent made the call because of concerns for a high number of students who walk to class rather than take the bus.
With temperatures falling into the single digits- and feeling more like negative digits- people all over the city bundled up for the deep freeze.
