Worcester, Mass. residents, schools and crews braced for the second snowstorm in just a matter of days on Tuesday.
Buses arrived two hours ahead of schedule at Norrback Avenue School. Snow prompted an early release city wide.
Jose Santos had to head in early to pick up his daughters from school. Luckily for him it was his day off. He planned to utilize the extra couple of hours with his kids.
"I'll take them out sledding but if not, we'll stay around the house and just throw snowballs at each other," said Santos.
Crews were once again out straight, gearing up to treat city roads with 25 salt trucks and sanders scattered about.
Tom Mercier, a private contractor, embraced the snow. He looks at it as yet another opportunity to earn extra money.

"Little salt, little sand, little plowing and hopefully we get 6 inches," said Mercier.
The evening commute was a cause of concern for many. One car even veered off the road on Park Avenue in Worcester.
"When there's slippery weather and slippery roads, a lot of snow coming down, low visibility, things can happen for sure," said John Monahan.
Despite the undesirable conditions, it's nothing New Englanders aren't used to and some have come to expect the weather.
"It comes and goes every year so we just get used to it, bundle up and make sure that we're good to go," said Malki Velez.
