From the NECN Weather Center...
MOSTLY DRY THROUGH FRIDAY WITH ONLY A FEW AFTERNOON SHOWERS & AND AN ISOLATED T-STORM....
Intervals of clouds & sunshine today with a few showers developing across the north country, just a slight chance in southern new England of spot shower. Dry tonight, partly cloudy & cool with light winds. Lows in the 50s North & west of 495 in Southern New England. Low 60s in the Urban areas. A dry start on Thursday, but a disturbance will trigger a few showers & an isolated thunderstorm, mainly west & north of Boston. Small Hail & gusty winds would be the main concern with these thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Most of Friday will be dry with a mix of sun & clouds, but during the afternoon a few showers will be possible yet again & even an isolated thunderstorm. High on Friday will be a tad warmer, low 80s in southern New England 70s north. On Saturday, a stationary front off the coast will back up towards us & could bring a period of rain to Southern New England. Exact timing & location where the front sets up will make a huge difference between a few showers, or soaking rain. Sunday brings the threat of more rain, highs in the mid-70s. Wave of low pressure shifts offshore on Monday, bringing an end to any remaining rain across our area, partly cloudy highs in the low 80s.
