'I'm Alive': CeeLo Speaks After Shocking Cellphone Explosion Video Surfaces

In a Facebook Live video Green explained the shocking footage was staged as part of a new music project.

Singer CeeLo Green finally spoke out on Facebook over the weekend following what appeared to be shocking surveillance video of a cell phone exploding in the face of the former "Voice" co-host as he sat in a music studio and seemingly knocking him unconscious.

"I just want to let everybody know that I am alive. And I'm well. And I'm OK. Truthfully I'm really upset that anybody had to be emotionally disturbed by what they saw," he said.

In his Facebook video Green explained the footage was filmed as part of a new music project. He did not elaborate on if the explosion was specifically staged or if he sustained any injuries during the incident. Green did not appear to have any injuries in his Facebook video.

"For everybody that loves me and cares about me I just want to let you know I'm OK," he said. 'I just want to thank everyone for their love and support. That's all I really want to say I've had a real difficult day dealing with everything."
